Description
I wanted to create a piece that conveyed the sense of disillusionment and deception that can arise from the facade of equality in society. I aimed to use various visual elements such as contrasting colors, distorted shapes, and symbolic imagery to represent the idea of a charade. The title "The Charade of Equal" reflects my strong suspicion that there are often underlying power dynamics and systems of oppression that prevent true equality from being achieved, while using as a platform for climbing the steps of power.
