Caito Junqueira, a resident of Sao Paulo's countryside, embarked on an artistic journey in the early 1970s. He honed his skills in drawing and painting through private tutoring and later pursued formal training at the Escola Panamericana de Arte. In 1984, Caito left college to study Computer Graphics, design, and colors at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. During the 1990s, Caito delved into the Brazilian film industry as a producer, writer, and conceptual designer. Over time, his artistic focus shifted towards virtual mediums, with 90% of his work now residing in the digital realm. Thank you so much, Patricia. It did take me time, thought and sweat, so to speak, to figure out the palette. I also wanted the sun to light the right side (darker sky) giving the sensation that it is coming from the left/behind side between some objects (vegetation?) with the left/bottom foreground being a bit darker. The original photograph that inspired this picture had a bit of that and helped lead the way, I should confess. My firends love this piece, but I always look at it with a feeling that I could do more in that direction.
