Dreaming about California

Thank you so much, Patricia. It did take me time, thought and sweat, so to speak, to figure out the palette. I also wanted the sun to light the right side (darker sky) giving the sensation that it is coming from the left/behind side between some objects (vegetation?) with the left/bottom foreground being a bit darker. The original photograph that inspired this picture had a bit of that and helped lead the way, I should confess. My firends love this piece, but I always look at it with a feeling that I could do more in that direction.
