I will never forget the woods behind my childhood backyard.
I will never forget him, my big friend with his kind face.
I will never forget him taking me home by the hand.
I will never forget when the hunters came and he was afraid.
Now he is just a memory that always comes in my dreams
To protect my sanity from this crazy world without him.
